Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans with precision and accuracy, ensuring the highest level of customer service and image quality.
  • Prepare procedure trays with the necessary supplies and take patient history to retrieve any required orders or prior images.
  • Provide patient history and symptoms to radiologists and complete documentation as needed.
  • Coordinate patient flow and check the daily list to ensure all exams are completed.
  • Support ALARA principles and inform patients about procedures and answer their questions.
  • Interact and communicate professionally with physicians, patients, and family members.
  • Start IVs for contrast administration and use the power injector as needed.
  • Contribute to after-hour coverage through on-call shift rotations and maintain all licenses, certifications, and accreditations required for the role.
  • Handle daily upkeep of departmental work areas and promote customer service initiatives by adhering to the ICARE values.
  • Support and participate in quality and performance improvement plans and comply with quarterly targeted metrics.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • Current ARRT certification with advanced registry or registry eligible with advanced CT certification within 1 year of hire or within 6 months of eligibility.
  • 1 year post-graduate experience preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
