Job Description

Winrock International is seeking a highly skilled Social and Behavioral Change Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing social and behavioral change (SBC) activities that promote positive behavior change and improve the lives of individuals and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement SBC strategies and interventions that address key behaviors and attitudes related to trafficking in persons, safe migration, and social inclusion.
  • Conduct formative research to inform SBC strategies and interventions, including the development of a Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practice (KAP) study.
  • Work closely with the SBC Specialist to develop and implement SBC activities, including the design and launch of campaigns at the national, community, and individual levels.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the SBC Specialist and other team members to ensure the successful implementation of SBC activities.
  • Build the capacity of the SBC Specialist and other team members to design and implement SBC activities independently.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social and behavioral science, psychology, sociology, applied behavior analysis, social anthropology, gender studies, development studies, communication, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in SBC, applied behavior analysis, or similar fields, including experience developing SBC strategies and implementing SBC interventions.
  • Experience working on democracy and governance and/or human rights-related issues such as trafficking in persons, gender-based violence, LGBTQIA+ issues, ethnic minorities, migration, civil society, citizen participation, etc.
  • Strong communications skills and excellent written and spoken English.
  • Professionalism, teamwork, and ability to meet deadlines.
