Job Summary

We're looking for a skilled and compassionate Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide clinical expertise and ensure the highest level of care for our patients. As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of Med/Surg patients, instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions, and maintain and review patients' records.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of Med/Surg patients
  • Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
  • Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results
  • Administer medications in accordance with physician orders
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred
  • Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
