Job Overview

Little Ones Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and preparing them for a successful educational journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of preschool children
  • Employ a range of educational techniques, including storytelling, educational play, and media, to promote learning and development
  • Observe and assess children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and developing strategies to support their growth
  • Encourage social interaction and conflict resolution among children, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Guide children in developing their artistic and practical skills through a carefully constructed curriculum
  • Organize and supervise nap and snack hours, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children
  • Track and report children's progress to parents, providing regular updates and feedback
  • Communicate effectively with parents, understanding their child's background and psyche, and working collaboratively to support their child's development
  • Maintain a clean and tidy classroom, adhering to health and safety standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher or in a related field
  • Excellent understanding of child development principles and preschool educational methods
  • Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
  • Excellent communication and instructional skills
  • Ability to act as a mediator between children, promoting conflict resolution and social skills
  • Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable, with a balance between creativity and practicality
  • Certification in child CPR and a valid license to practice the profession
  • BSc/BA in education or a relevant field
