Job Title: HVAC Technician

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Waterbury Heating and Cooling. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating and cooling systems for residential and commercial customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair heating and cooling issues on various brands of commercial and residential HVAC equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Install new HVAC systems and their components, including ductwork and vents.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and supervisors to ensure timely work and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation to record activities and convey information.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the service truck.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
  • Respond to emergency situations during or after hours, as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; HVAC certification or degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and tools.
