Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer, Applications to join our Engineering Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing intuitive graphical user interfaces and networking applications for our wireless communication products. Your expertise in modern software technologies will be instrumental in enhancing the cohesiveness and morale of our team, while driving self-improvement and talent development.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement PC desktop-based application user interfaces that are intuitive and user-friendly.
- Enhance and maintain a suite of wireless networking configuration and situational awareness tools, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
- Develop innovative visualization techniques for large data sets, providing actionable insights to our team and stakeholders.
- Document and present design alternatives using industry-standard practices and corporate engineering processes.
- Optimize user data requests across multiple sources from a single client, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions.
- Design and implement variability and efficient functional segmentation to serve different market visualization and user needs.
- Develop strong relationships with team members built on trust, respect, and open communication.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Minimum of seven years of industry experience developing user interface applications.
- Proven expertise in implementing contemporary user interface solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas effectively.
- Proficiency in C#, XAML, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF),.NET, and Visual Studio.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and REST API usage is desired.
- Ability to work in a Windows environment, with a strong understanding of common revision control systems.
- Strong artistic and creative ability, with the ability to think from a user's perspective.
The physical demands of this role include frequent sitting, standing, walking, and use of hands to fingers, handle or feel, reach within hands and arm's length, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, and frequently required to use office equipment such as PCs, printers, and telephones.
Additional Requirements- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, if required by the company.
TrellisWare Technologies, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on market rates, qualifications, and experience. The annual salary range for this position is $115,000-$165,000, depending on location and individual qualifications.
