Head Chef

About the Role:

This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our specialty restaurant, ensuring high-quality food products and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of culinary professionals in preparing meals according to established recipes and standards.
  • Supervise and direct the work of kitchen staff, including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, and evaluating performance.
  • Maintain inventory control, requisitioning stock as needed to meet business demands.
  • Ensure all food products meet quality standards and are properly stored and rotated.
  • Resolve customer complaints about food quality or preparation in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Sous Chef or similar position preferred.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of Asian cooking techniques, menus, and recipes.
  • Ability to stand for the majority of a shift and perform other physical demands associated with the job.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
Compensation:

Estimated annual salary: $60,000 - $80,000 based on industry standards and location.
