As a Hotel Houseperson, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of guest and public areas in the hotel, supervising Houseperson team members, and assisting the Room Attendants when necessary.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning corridors, elevators, guest areas, service areas, and linen closets to maintain cleanliness and orderliness
  • Removing trash and linen bags, delivering refrigerators and cots to guest rooms, and turning mattresses or moving furniture as needed
  • Restocking linen closets with clean glassware and linens, and keeping all housekeeping closets stocked and organized
  • Sweeping and picking up trash from parking lots and team member entrances, and cleaning high-touch points, public washrooms, employee washrooms, and the staff cafeteria
  • Notifying maintenance of areas needing repairs, assisting in unloading and storing deliveries, and delivering express check-out folios to guestrooms

Requirements include:

  • Ability to speak and understand basic English to communicate with guests and other housekeeping team members
  • Previous experience in a hotel or other high-volume location is beneficial
