Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Supervisor to join our team at our Small Animal Veterinary Emergency Services (SAVES) hospital in Lebanon, NH. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our Emergency and Critical Care Department, focusing on providing compassionate patient care, supporting a positive work environment, and fostering teamwork and communication among staff members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and develop clinical staff schedules based on patient needs and operational requirements.
  • Enhance hospital workflow and operational efficiency through process improvements and quality control initiatives.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials.
  • Provide focused staff training, continuing education, and opportunities for growth and development.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and conducting performance reviews for clinical support staff.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operations, addressing and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician with a minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in an emergency setting.
  • Associates degree required (Bachelor's degree preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to foster a culture of collaboration, effective communication, and mutual respect.
