About the Role Golden Gate University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of New Student Success to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and evaluating effective engagement and retention processes for new students, leading a team of new student success coaches, and providing expertise in CRM database management and organization.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and at least 3-5 years of experience in customer service, account management, or relationship building in Higher Education. Additionally, they should have experience managing a team and proficiency in using CRM software such as Salesforce. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential for this role.

About the Opportunity This is a full-time position that requires a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching and guiding a team of new student success coaches on quality outbound calls, productivity metrics, and exceptional customer service. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing retention tools, collaborating with faculty and administrators, and overseeing all aspects of the engagement process for new students from acceptance to term one of their program.

The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and lead, motivate, and direct subordinates. They should also have strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
