Position Summary

We are currently in search of a qualified Class A CDL Driver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience in the transportation of heavy machinery, industrial components, and related equipment within the Mid-Atlantic region. The work schedule may vary based on customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The role includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:
  1. Transport, load, and unload equipment and parts for clients.
  2. Provide guidance to customers on the operation of equipment and the location of operational manuals.
  3. Advise customers on suitable equipment and related products.
  4. Conduct daily vehicle inspections, including checking fuel, oil, and other fluid levels.
  5. Document and report fluid levels and perform necessary maintenance on trailers.
  6. Complete required paperwork for vehicle inspections and submit to the supervisor.
  7. Maintain precise records of deliveries and pickups.
  8. Assist in the shipping and receiving department during downtime from deliveries.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Possess a valid Class A CDL.
  • Maintain a clean and safe driving record.
  • Experience with oversized loads and low-boy trailers.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical examination.
  • Familiarity with rental equipment inventory and the ability to address customer inquiries during deliveries.
  • Knowledge of equipment transportation and compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Physical stamina and strength to meet the demands of the job.
