Position Summary:

This pivotal sourcing role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including initial supplier identification, negotiations with vendors, and transactional tasks such as purchase order processing and delivery tracking for goods and services using ServiceNow, CRM tools, and other administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the submission of all order forms from Summit 7 to vendors for licensing, software, and hardware requests
  • Assist in vendor management and procurement processes
  • Utilize influence, strategy, and decision-making to drive solutions and facilitate change with vendors and team members
  • Identify and develop new supply sources, sourcing and selecting qualified vendors
  • Correct order forms and resolve vendor-related issues as they arise
  • Support the maintenance of procurement tracking in Connectwise and ServiceNow
  • Update ConnectWise, ServiceNow, and relevant folders with status changes
  • Revise calculators and tools when new versions are released, ensuring data migration
  • Monitor purchases through to delivery
  • Enhance cycle time, improve quality, and seek opportunities for cost savings
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in procurement or a higher education degree with 3 years of relevant experience
  • At least 1 year of experience with the ServiceNow platform
  • Proven detail-oriented experience in retail or retail sales
  • Strong proficiency in Office 365 Cloud applications
  • Ability to work independently with a strong commitment to personal and professional growth
  • All candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to pass an extensive background check.
