Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a range of pediatric conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests to inform treatment decisions.
  • Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions in pediatric patients.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care and achieve the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly to maintain high-quality records.
Requirements
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree focused on Pediatrics or a related specialty.
  • Active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in the state of practice.
  • National certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or a related specialty area.
  • At least one year of experience in a clinical setting relevant to Pediatrics.
