We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Methodist Hospital Northeast. As a PACU Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse RN PACU, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to patients recovering from surgery. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care and support during their recovery.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients recovering from surgery
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License
  • At least six months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
