Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Buehler, a leading manufacturer of scientific equipment and supplies. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the conceptualization and development of new products, utilizing both AC and DC power processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products that meet the changing needs of our customers
  • Design and develop innovative solutions for Buehler's customers worldwide
  • Provide expertise in the implementation of emerging technologies and designing PCB Assemblies, power systems, and control hardware content for our product lines
  • Work with the design team to develop risk assessments and assist in developing solutions to mitigate risk
  • Collaborate with purchasing, sourcing, and quality teams to design and qualify solutions for obsolete components
  • Support the development of quality, manufacturing, and supplier inspection procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in designing circuit boards (layout + schematics)
  • Comprehensive understanding of designing and testing in compliance with regulatory and safety standards
  • Experience in analog + digital signal designs; experience in the use of microcontrollers is a plus
  • Knowledgeable in power circuitries, motor controls, and sensors
  • Experience creating schematics with OrCAD or Altium
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within project teams, ensuring timely completion of tasks
