We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Specialist to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive, hydraulic system, and mechanical knowledge, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Summary:

As a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, rebuilding, and repairing complex vehicles and heavy equipment under limited supervision. Your extensive experience and expertise will enable you to work independently, making sound judgments and taking initiative to complete tasks efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Three years of experience and/or training in maintenance and repair of trucks and/or heavy equipment
  • Education in diesel technology or related field
  • A combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
  • Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card (or able to obtain within 6 months)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record according to legal requirements
  • Owning tools
  • Considerable knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance
  • Familiar with mechanical design and fabrication
  • Experience with electrical systems, including computerized induction/ignition systems

Work Schedule:
