Job Summary

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team at Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of our students.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive mental health programs to promote student well-being and academic success.
  • Conduct assessments and provide counseling services to students, parents, and teachers to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Provide professional development and training to teachers and staff on topics related to mental health, social-emotional learning, and crisis intervention.
  • Participate in crisis response and intervention efforts to support students and staff in times of need.

 

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential with School Psychology authorization.
  • Experience working with students, parents, and teachers in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
