Job Summary

BrightFarms Inc is seeking a highly skilled People and Culture Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support, maintaining efficient operations within the greenhouse facility, and assisting with various HR functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative support to the greenhouse management teams
    • Act as a liaison between greenhouses and corporate office
    • Assist with various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
  • HR Functions
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with all levels of personnel
    • Assist with employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
    • Support HR-related communications and announcements, both internally and externally
  • Operations Support
    • Assist with the preparation and distribution of HR-related reports, such as headcount, turnover, and training records
    • Process changes in the system and in writing in compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience
    • 2-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in a coordinator or generalist role
  • Skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Language
    • Bilingual Spanish/English
  • Education
    • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent time management skills. The ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times is also required.
