Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Ophthalmic Scribe to join our team at Midwest Vision Partners. As an Ophthalmic Scribe, you will work closely with physicians to document patient information and assist with minor in-office procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately document patient information, including medical history, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Assist physicians with minor in-office procedures, such as administering eye drops and performing visual acuity tests.
- Prepare exam rooms for treatment and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and medications in the field of ophthalmology.
- Provide excellent patient care and communication.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive a motor vehicle.
- Efficient computer skills and ability to type 40+ words per minute.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working as a Medical Scribe or in a similar role.
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
