Job Summary:As an Operating Room Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in the operating room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and medical history.
- Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform other nursing interventions as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Current RN licensure in the state of New Jersey.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse.
- Experience in at least one of the following specialties: Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Robotic, or Endovascular Surgery.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- CNOR certification preferred.
