Server Assistant

As a Server at Discovery Village, you will be responsible for taking meal/drink orders and serving meals in a friendly and timely manner. You will also ensure that residents and guests are satisfied with their meals. Additionally, you will maintain knowledge of all specials and general description of all food items. You will be responsible for maintaining all side stations and dining areas, following daily and weekly cleaning schedules, and practicing all safety and loss prevention procedures. You will also set-up and clean the Dining Room while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must enjoy working with seniors and be able to interact with guests, residents, and staff in a courteous and friendly manner. You must also be able to respond promptly to resident needs and balance team and individual responsibilities. Finally, you must be able to work flexible hours as needed.
