Key Responsibilities- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Utilize your expertise to deliver safe, dependable, and effective care to patients undergoing stem cell transplants and CAR-T cell therapy.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Advocate for Patients and Families: Serve as a strong advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Best Practices: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in hematological cancers and stem cell transplantation.
- Contribute to a Positive Work Environment: Foster a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with 12 months of recent nursing experience.
- Licensure and Certification: Valid, active nursing license and BLS certification required; ACLS may be required in designated departments.
- Physical and Environmental Demands: Ability to lift 75 lbs, carry objects up to 35 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to bio-hazardous waste and other environmental factors.
