Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at OhioHealth. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality radiation therapy treatments to patients with cancer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist, ensuring accurate and safe administration of treatment.
- Prepare patients for radiation therapy, including simulation, dose calculations, and acquisition of treatment parameters.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Driver's License.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position working in a fast-paced radiation oncology department. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
