We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist II-R to join our team at Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center. As a member of our health care team, you will be accountable for providing technical and supportive services during diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures under the direct supervision of the Cath Lab Clinical Coordinator.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize technology, procedures, protocols, standards, and interventions specific to the assigned unit.
  • Recognize emergency situations, including life-threatening arrhythmias, and respond effectively and appropriately.
  • Notify the RN/Physician with rhythm changes in a proactive approach.
  • Validate clinical alarms.
  • Anticipate patient/unit needs during emergency/code situations without requiring direction.
  • Safely operate and maintain unit equipment.
  • Operate radiographic equipment per title 17 and licensure.
  • Operate hemodynamic monitoring; calibrate and maintain related equipment as needed; assist MD in procedures.
Requirements
  • 1 year cardiac catheterization laboratory experience with demonstrated knowledge of cardiac rhythms and cardiac hemodynamics.
  • Registry Certified as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
  • ACLS & AHA BLS.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Radiology Technician with current x-ray and fluoroscopy license.
