Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at the Primary Care Clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing patient-centered care and supporting our healthcare providers in their daily duties.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with examinations and treatments under the direction of a provider (Physician or Advanced Practice Provider)
  • Performing select clinical duties, including interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and recording information on patients' charts
  • Preparing treatment rooms for examination of patients
  • Documenting encounters with patients, including diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required
  • Medical Assistant certification obtained within 6 months of hire date or job transfer date required
  • High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required
