Salary and Benefits

Job Responsibilities

As an Advanced Tax Planner, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing tax liability and developing strategies to minimize it
  • Preparing tax projections and returns
  • Collaborating with financial advisors to develop comprehensive financial plans
  • Representing clients before the IRS and state revenue departments
  • Maintaining accurate records and staying up-to-date with industry regulations
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • At least 6 years of experience preparing and reviewing federal, state, and local tax returns
  • An active Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant license
  • Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Experience with CCH Axcess Software preferred
