Contribute to the advancement and enhancement of an Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS).
This comprehensive platform includes an all-weather combat goggle and a mixed reality heads-up display, integrating cutting-edge situational awareness tools and high-resolution simulations to ensure operational effectiveness both day and night.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and interpret data, including the development of system simulations and the implementation of automated analysis algorithms.
- Collaborate with engineering and scientific teams to transition prototypes into market-ready products.
- Generate comprehensive reports, test plans, presentations, and other essential documentation.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Proficient in a laboratory setting and effective in a collaborative team environment.
- Results-driven with a keen interest in various technical domains.
- Thorough understanding of the lens assembly process and the optics supply chain.
- Strong analytical skills.
Education & Experience
- Ph.D. in a relevant discipline; or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience; or a Bachelor's degree with over 5 years of related experience.
- U.S. Citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
- Experience in optical device testing and familiarity with imaging sensors, image processing, and signal/data processing applications is preferred.
- Proficiency with Unix/Linux operating systems is advantageous.
