As a key member of our mobile blood drive team, you will be responsible for collecting blood donations, operating our vehicles, and ensuring the highest level of customer service to our donors.

Responsibilities
  • Collect blood donations from donors in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all applicable regulations and guidelines.
  • Operate American Red Cross vehicles, including those that require a CDL operator license, to transport supplies and equipment to and from mobile blood drives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors, sponsors, and other stakeholders, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
  • Perform daily function checks, assemble and maintain supplies and equipment, and ensure compliance with all regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient donation processes, maintain a high level of productivity, and promote a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or phlebotomy training preferred.
  • Customer service experience, effective verbal communication, and public relations skills are essential.
  • A current valid driver's license and good driving record are required; a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is also required.
  • Previous truck and/or bus driving experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, squat, push or pull heavy weights, and adapt to long, irregular hours and frequent schedule changes.
