About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team at the Mississippi Dept of Employment. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with vehicles and equipment.
  • Conduct safety inspections on vehicles to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.
Requirements
