About the Job: We are seeking a Recreation and Leisure Coordinator to join our team at Aimbridge Hospitality. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading activity programs for guests of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute daily activity programs, including special events and holiday programs.
  • Organize and maintain quality assurance of all programs while ensuring exceptional levels of guest service.
  • Maintain weekly and monthly guest program pre-registration.
  • Perform daily office procedures, including general accounting duties, and keep all areas neat and clean.
  • Assist in the coordination of conference, group, and team-building activities.
  • Provide excellent public relations and stay up-to-date on resort and member happenings to deliver top-notch service to guests.
  • Work on special projects and contribute ideas to department growth.
  • Be cross-trained in all other departments within the Recreation Department.
  • Assist in staff development and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Requirements:

  • CPR First Aid and AED Certification
  • Previous experience with children preferred
  • Must be well-organized, creative, and a self-starter
  • Ability to lead groups of people and children in various activities
  • Flexibility to work evenings, holidays, and weekends
  • Knowledge of age-appropriate activities and enjoyment working with diverse age groups
  • Courteous behavior and adherence to company guiding principles
  • Bachelor's degree in Recreation or related field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and converse in English
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds and work outdoors in a sub-tropical climate
