Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our treatment team. The successful candidate will provide critical medical care and support to individuals battling substance use disorders, making a direct difference in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough medical assessments for patients during the intake process, including taking vitals, interviewing, annotating medical history, and performing drug screenings.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to treatment plans.
  • Provide patient education on medication adherence and relevant health information, contributing to their overall care plans.
  • Generate and review monthly medication administration records (MARs) and reconcile them with records provided by authorized pharmacists.
  • Assist with daily operations, including supporting Recovery Support Specialists, handling front desk inquiries, and performing various administrative tasks.
  • Aid in diagnostic tests and procedures, providing essential support to the medical team.
  • Offer education and support to patients and their families, enhancing their understanding of treatment and recovery.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Current Practical Nurse license for the state of Indiana.
  • Experience: 6+ months of experience as a licensed LPN, with a preference for experience in substance use disorder or behavioral health settings.
  • Certifications: Must have or be able to obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Skills: Ability to work independently, read and interpret documents, and handle various tasks with professionalism and flexibility.
