TrueCare is seeking a caring and experienced Psychologist to join our team in San Marcos, CA.

The Psychologist will be part of our Specialty Mental Health team, identifying, triaging, and managing internally referred primary care patients with often comorbid medical and behavioral health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide initial comprehensive evaluations, identifying diagnoses, developing specific behavioral/therapeutic treatment plans, and providing ongoing psychotherapy.
  • Engage in consultation and provide in-service education as needed and appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the Specialty MH team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • At least two (2) years' experience providing psychotherapy (CBT-based models preferred) with adults and adolescents.
  • Ph.D./Psy.D. in Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Current License issued by the California Board of Psychology.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
