Groombuggy is the premier mobile dog grooming company in the San Francisco Bay Area, Northern Virginia, and Denver. We are a rapidly growing organization dedicated to providing stress-free, enriching grooming experiences for dogs.
We are seeking a skilled dog groomer to join our team of professionals who share our passion for animal care and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of experience as a groomer, a valid driver's license, and be comfortable driving a large van. They should also possess excellent communication skills, be friendly and professional with customers and their dogs, and be able to lift animals and equipment up to 50 pounds.
The successful candidate will work primarily as a mobile dog groomer, interacting with customers, operating our mobile grooming vans, and providing exceptional service to ensure client satisfaction.
Compensation and Benefits
- A competitive total compensation package consisting of an hourly base rate, weekly bonus, tips, and benefits including dental insurance, employee discount, flexible schedule, health insurance, paid time off, referral program, retirement plan, and vision insurance.
- Up to $83,000 per year in estimated salary, making pups look their best while enjoying a rewarding career.
- Tools and supplies provided, including everything needed on the job: tools, product, blade sharpening, gas, and more.
- Amazing internal support, allowing you to focus on your craft with scheduling, invoicing, van maintenance, and other tasks handled by our management and customer support team.
Job Requirements
- 1+ year experience as a groomer.
- Valid driver's license and comfort driving a large van.
- Excellent communication skills, friendly, and professional demeanor with customers and their dogs.
- Ability to lift animals and equipment up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and utilize gross manipulation to operate grooming tools.
Interview Process

- Video call with our Recruiter to get to know you and learn more about Groombuggy.
- In-van technical interview (Pawdition) with one of our Groomer Managers to test your skills, chat groomer to groomer, and learn about our vans.
- Offer call followed by a written offer letter, background check, and onboarding.
- Your first day, meeting key members of the team, and riding along with a Groomer Manager for in-depth orientation and training.
