About the Role:

As a Housekeeping Assistant at Edgewood Healthcare, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' living spaces. This is a part-time, day shift position that requires a passion for helping others and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment: Ensure that all areas of the building, including resident rooms and common spaces, are clean and free of clutter.
  • Provide laundry services: Launder resident clothing and linens to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Identify and report safety hazards: Observe and report any potential safety hazards or concerns to management, adhering to safety guidelines and OSHA standards.
  • Adhere to company policies: Follow all Edgewood Healthcare policies, including HIPAA and other relevant guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Previous housekeeping experience: While not required, prior experience in housekeeping or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Passion for helping others: A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service and helping others is essential for this role.
  • Willingness to train new employees: A willingness to train and support new employees is crucial in this position.
