- Equipment Operation: Skillfully operate and maintain specialized equipment utilized in the PCU, such as cardiac monitors, ventilators, and infusion pumps, ensuring patient safety and precision.
- Emergency Response: React promptly to changes in patient conditions, initiate emergency protocols as needed, and deliver life-saving interventions when required.
- Quality Assurance: Comply with hospital policies, quality benchmarks, and infection control protocols to guarantee patient safety and the highest standard of care.
- Professional Development: Remain informed about the latest advancements in nursing practice by participating in continuing education programs and training sessions as necessary.
- Communication: Foster effective communication with the healthcare team, patients, and their families, ensuring a collaborative and compassionate care atmosphere.
- Valid RN license in the state of practice and current BLS certification.
- A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, ideally in a progressive care unit or a related critical care environment.
- ACLS certification is highly desirable.
