Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Medical City Plano. As a member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for operating X-ray equipment to perform routine and semi-complex radiographic examinations.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in Radiographic Technology from an accredited program and be certified or registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Experience as an RT(R) is preferred but not required. The successful applicant will also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Operate standard, portable, and specialized X-ray equipment to perform radiographic examinations.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Develop and process films, transmitting them to radiologists for interpretation.
- Administer contrast media and medications within scope and applicable regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure prompt transfer of images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
As a Radiology Technologist at Medical City Plano, you can expect a competitive salary range of $64,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
