Playcenter Attendant

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Playcenter Attendant to join our team at the YMCA of Metro Atlanta. As a key member of our youth development team, you will play a vital role in providing care and leading activities for children aged three months to twelve years.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our young participants while delivering high-quality programs that promote child development and engagement. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Provide exceptional care and support to children aged three months to twelve years
• Lead engaging activities that promote learning, socialization, and physical activity
• Ensure a safe and healthy environment for all participants
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program plans

• Must be at least 16 years old and have experience working with youth in a structured setting
• Complete all required trainings prior to start; obtain CPR certification within the first 30 days of employment
• A working knowledge of computers, including MS Word and MS Excel, is preferred
• Exemplify YMCA ideals, character values, leadership qualities, and excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
