Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Grid Market Solutions Developer to join our team at The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT). As a key member of our GMS Technology Development department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing market applications and user interfaces that support the reliable operation of the Texas power grid.

Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining software solutions for our Market Management Systems (MMS) portfolio, which includes Security Constrained Economic Dispatch (SCED), Day-Ahead Market (DAM), Reliability Unit Commitment (RUC), Congestion Revenue Rights (CRR), and QSE Training Simulator. You will work closely with our internal stakeholders to review and understand market applications functional and non-functional requirements.

You will also be involved in the design, development, testing, validation, and implementation of modifications and enhancements to MMS applications. Additionally, you will participate in interdepartmental meetings and present software design and implementation details.
