Tax Supervisor

Management Business Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Tax Supervisor to join our team. As a Tax Supervisor, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate preparation of tax returns, as well as providing guidance and support to junior staff members.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform technical tax review and approval of tax returns and governmental tax examinations
- Assume full responsibility for larger tax returns and delegate tasks to junior staff members as needed
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff members on tax-related matters
- Participate in client meetings and tax planning efforts to assist the Auditing and Accounting Department
- Communicate important tax developments to firm personnel
- Delegate and manage governmental tax examinations, and represent clients before taxing authorities as needed
- Develop, coach, and train Supervising Seniors, Seniors, Semi-seniors, and Staff accountants
- Participate in reviews and evaluations of the Tax Department
- At least five to seven years' experience in public accounting, demonstrating a proven progression in tax complexity, scope, and research
- International consulting and compliance experience
- Familiarity with US domestic and international tax compliance forms for HNW individuals, passthrough entities, and corporations
- Familiarity with international tax concepts, including subpart F, GILTI, PFIC, foreign tax credit calculation, and income tax treaty
- Minimum one (1) year experience supervising and directing work of tax preparers
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required; Master's degree in taxation preferred
- A current and valid certified public accountant's license or JD is required
