Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a qualified Physician (MD/DO) or Advanced Practice Provider for a Bioethicist/Clinician position.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and growing Bioethics program. The qualified candidate will divide their time between clinical work in their specialty and clinical ethics consultation and education.

Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical work in an individual's clinical specialty.
  • Perform bioethics consultation services at HMH institutions to address ethical dilemmas that arise in the care of specific patients.
  • Collaborate on quality initiatives in clinical bioethics.
  • Participate in educational programs and bioethics rotations for students and residents.
Requirements
  • MD/DO, APN or PA
  • Licensed Independent Practitioner qualified for clinical practice in New Jersey.
  • Graduate-level knowledge of bioethics principles and concepts and their practical application in the clinical setting.
  • Minimum of 2 years bioethics experience.
