Job Overview

The Peach Pit Gym is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Competitive Gymnastics Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs for our competitive gymnastics teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement training programs for competitive gymnastics teams, including lesson plans and curriculum development.
  • Recruit, evaluate, and develop gymnasts to participate in our competitive team programs.
  • Maintain open communication with parents and athletes, providing regular updates on team progress and athlete development.
  • Collaborate with other coaching staff to ensure cohesive communication and a positive team environment.
  • Monitor athlete attendance and eligibility for competitions, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage athlete registration, emergency contact information, and other related records in our system.
  • Contribute to the overall cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.
  • Model sportsmanlike behavior and maintain a positive attitude towards athletes, officials, and spectators.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in competitive gymnastics coaching and athlete development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of USAG competitive routines, guidelines, and requirements.
