Job Overview

Ace Endico is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to support the company's HR functions. This role will be responsible for a wide range of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Address employee inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Mediate conflict resolution and facilitate communication between employees and management.
  • Promote HR programs and initiatives to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
  • Manage employee performance reviews and development plans.
  • Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and time off policies.
  • Process benefit enrollments, changes, and claims.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant benefits regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain employee records and HR metrics, providing reports as needed.
  • Assist in identifying training needs and maintaining training records.
  • Coordinate and facilitate employee training sessions and professional development initiatives.
  • Develop training programs.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and data.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2-4 years of experience in an HR role, preferably as a generalist.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain composure in high-stress situations.
Work Environment

This is a primarily sedentary position requiring extended periods of sitting at a computer workstation. The work environment is located in a professional office setting with moderate ambient noise levels. Our office boasts ergonomically designed workstations with adjustable chairs and keyboards to promote comfort and well-being. The temperature is climate-controlled, and the lighting is bright and well-lit.

This role will occasionally work in a warehouse environment near fast-moving powered industrial equipment and experience exposure to vibration and moderate to high noise levels. The warehouse work environment includes congested and high-traffic areas, slippery floors, working alongside forklifts, single pallet jacks, electric walk-behind jacks, and hand carts. Walking and working on concrete flooring. Duties will require frequently working in varying climates. Temperatures range from below zero in the freezers to 95F degrees or above outdoors.
