Job Summary

CHAS Health is seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality primary medical services to our patients in accordance with our organization's policies, procedures, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treat a diverse patient population, including insured and uninsured patients, with compassion and respect.
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and provide preventive health measures within established guidelines.
  • Order and execute various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to inform patient care decisions.
  • Analyze reports and findings to diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans.
  • Prescribe or recommend medications, therapies, and other forms of treatment as needed.
  • Advise patients on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and management.
  • Record and maintain accurate patient records, including physical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • Master's degree from an accredited Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner school.
  • Valid licensure in Washington State and secure narcotic prescription privileges.
  • Board certification or eligibility.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.

  • Experience working in a primary care setting.
  • Knowledge of electronic health records and practice management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
