Overview

As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care to individuals in need of urgent medical attention.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely and effective patient care.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, working with the healthcare team to ensure a smooth transition to home or other care settings.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas, obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Advanced Life Support certification required within 6 months of hire date or job transfer date.
  • BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date.
