We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Event Attendant/Cashier to join our team at SP+. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing cash transactions, and ensuring a smooth flow of traffic through our parking facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage cash transactions, including counting money, making change, and issuing receipts or tickets to customers.
- Monitor and control traffic flow through our parking facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient experience for our customers.
- Patrol parking levels on foot or in a customized motor cart, as needed, to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist customers who have forgotten where they parked their vehicles, providing directions and information to help them locate their vehicles.
- Communicate with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of our parking facilities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in customer service or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately count money and make change.
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation.
- Valid driver's license, with a clean driving record, if required to drive a company vehicle.
