The ideal candidate will be proactive, assertive, and eager to expand their medical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

X-ray Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients, ensuring they have removed all jewelry and metal objects, are in the appropriate medical attire, and confirm they are not pregnant.
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Utilize immobilization devices to capture optimal images of the specified body areas as requested by the healthcare provider.
  • Communicate procedures to patients to alleviate anxieties and gain their cooperation.
  • Implement radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all supplies are adequately stocked.
  • Process and review images for proper identification and quality assurance.
  • Operate both digital and non-digital imaging equipment, adhering to approved radiology techniques and all company policies.
  • Prepare images for provider review and coordinate with additional providers if a second opinion is required.
  • Assist providers with prescribed patient treatments following established standards and protocols.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and arrange for repairs as necessary.
  • Complete documentation and maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Observe safety protocols and promote a secure and pleasant work environment.
  • Report any potentially unsafe conditions to management.
  • Ensure regular attendance to support efficient clinic operations.

Medical Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
  • Explain prescribed procedures and treatments to patients.
  • Prepare equipment and assist providers during patient examinations and treatments.
  • Ensure timely and accurate performance of all ordered tests.
  • Administer medications and treatments as per approved protocols.
  • Maintain awareness of patient comfort and needs.
  • Start and maintain lab equipment as scheduled.
  • Document all lab requests and results accurately.
  • Collect blood samples while adhering to aseptic principles.
  • Conduct laboratory tests according to established instructions.
  • Administer IV fluids (training provided if not certified).
  • Perform daily quality control and cleaning procedures as per guidelines.
  • Order and stock supplies weekly.
  • Respond to lab messages and share responsibility for call back sheets.
  • Utilize lab software and equipment according to established procedures.
  • Collect specimens using approved techniques.
  • Monitor patients and report significant conditions or reactions to supervisors.
  • Respond to emergency situations based on established protocols.
  • Conduct drug screening procedures in accordance with regulations.
  • Ensure proper documentation of patient immunizations.
  • Facilitate provider referrals and service pre-certifications as needed.
  • Document patients' past medical histories.
  • Rotate among various clinical services, including lab and front desk.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and supplies for procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Handle difficult customer situations with a focus on service excellence.
  • Demonstrate thoroughness and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation.
  • Observe safety protocols and promote a secure work environment.
  • Respond to patient messages and assist with discharge duties.
  • Ensure regular attendance to support clinic operations.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
