Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff to ensure that all rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that all areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are available and in good working order.
  • Investigate and resolve any guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping services.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and engineering, to ensure that all facilities are properly maintained and repaired.
  • Develop and implement training programs for housekeeping staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and control expenses related to housekeeping operations, including labor costs, supplies, and equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality, hotel management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, as well as stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Working Conditions

The Complex Housekeeping Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment. The ability to work in a team environment and to lift, carry, and move heavy objects is essential for this role.

The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States and will be subject to a background check prior to employment.
