About the Role

Methuen Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with project superintendents, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project delivery meets quality, safety, and timeline expectations
  • Manage and coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment
  • Develop and implement project schedules, including critical path method (CPM) and program evaluation and review technique (PERT)
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure project progress, quality, and safety standards are met
  • Manage and resolve project-related issues, including disputes, claims, and changes
  • Prepare and submit project reports, including progress reports, cost reports, and final project reports
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and implement process improvements
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the heavy industrial construction industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or other relevant field
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze data
