Dialysis Machine Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Dialysis Machine Technician to join our team at NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of dialysis equipment, performing routine maintenance and repairs, and collaborating with facility staff to meet regulatory and OSHA requirements.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on dialysis equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting, to ensure patient safety and equipment functionality.
• Collect water samples for AAMI analysis testing as needed.
• Perform electrical safety checks on dialysis machines and related equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records for the facility's equipment.
• Collaborate with facility staff to ensure all regulatory and OSHA requirements are met.
• Complete all technical training programs required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dialysis technician certification (CHBT) or obtain within 2 years.
• Valid driver's license in applicable state.
• Previous 3 years of dialysis experience or working with dialysis equipment.
• Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• Ability to communicate and interface effectively with others.
• Ability to work independently as well as with others to plan and organize work assignments.

• Associate Degree in electronics or biomedical technology.
