As a Caregiver or Direct Support Professional, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality services and individualized supports that lead to growth and independence for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Support individuals with developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
  • Encourage participation in community activities and hobbies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: One year of experience working with developmental disabilities.
  • Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
  • Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
